An after school Karate program was initiated in 2003 under the leadership of Pelayo Mayta, a national Karate Champion, in the town of Ccotohuincho. The emphasis of the training is not only to learn the discipline of Karate but also provide spiritual training. The children have demonstrated their skills at the Children’s Festivals.
